Weddings and Shooting parties require a great deal of planning, not only the event itself but also the clothing that is to be worn. At Alexander Boyd our advisory service will assist you with your choice of clothes and tailor them accordingly. We are able to obtain a wide range of fabrics including silk brocades for ties and waistcoats, handkerchiefs and ascots. Interesting suiting fabrics are also available from lightweight to Scottish tweed. Ideal for the Caribbean Islands or the Moors of Scotland.

Alterations Service

We all have items of clothing that for whatever reason are no longer fit for purpose. At Alexander Boyd as part of customer service we have always maintained the clothing for our existing clients. We are constantly being asked to recommend an alterations tailor. Being unable to recommend another firm with any confidence, we decided to open our own alterations workshop operated by experienced alterations tailors dedicated to making clothes fit and last longer. As each alteration is individual, prices are only available on presentation of the item of clothing that requires altering.
